What is Silver Jewellery Workshop?
It is a 3-hour creative workshop for those who want to try their hands at making jewellery. You will learn the basic handling of silver – from shaping and texturing to finishing a beautiful piece of wearable art under the guidance of an experienced silversmith.
It will take place on January 25th, 2025, at 15:00 to 18:00 in Göteborg and is a perfect way to spend a cozy winter afternoon.
What Will You Create?
The highlight of the workshop is that you get to create a silver ring or a bracelet of your choice and take it home at the end of your session. Can you imagine wearing that ring made by your hands themselves, or giving a loved one a bracelet made to your specifications? Little compares to handmade jewellery.
Want to add just a little sparkle? You will also have options of adding a gemstone from just 150 SEK, giving the possibility of further customization – adding some color and personality.
No Experience? No Problem!
One of the great things about our workshop is prior experience is not a requirement. You do not have to be an artist, a designer, or even a jewellery maker. You only need your enthusiasm and a wish to learn something new.
Our professional tutor will guide you step by step in every step of handling the tools and perfecting the detail in making your jewelry. You will be surprised at what you make and learn from this workshop.
What’s Included in the Workshop?
Workshop fee per person is €85 including:
- 3 hours of tuition with an actual silversmith.
- Employment of all the tools and equipment used in the making of jewelry.
- A creative space in which you can relax and enjoy the process.
- Please note that the material costs are not included in the participation fee and on-site payment is required. This way, you pay only for what you use. Here is a rough estimate of the material costs:
- 100-200 SEK for a silver ring.
- 250-350 SEK for a silver bracelet.
- Optional precious stones from 150 SEK.
Limited Spots – Don’t Wait Too Long!
In this intimate setting, with no more than 18 participants, we’re making sure the workshop will give everyone the time they need for a personalized experience.
Furthermore, the workshop needs at least 11 participants to operate. If this minimum is not reached by December 31st, 2024, all registered participants will be completely refunded.
