Looking for a cozy Italian spot in the heart of Göteborg, we decided to visit V Italiano Moderno Göteborg for a special family dinner. Located right in the city center near iconic landmarks like Stora Saluhallen and Göteborg’s Cathedral, it seemed like the perfect place to celebrate and say goodbye to my mom after her Christmas visit.

Would we go back? For now, we’re hesitant. Göteborg has so many fantastic restaurants to explore, and this one didn’t quite make the cut for a repeat visit ❌

Experiencing a real British afternoon tea was always high on my priority list and Theatre Afternoon Tea at Strand Palace was a perfect opportunity to give it a shot.

For the price of £49 on weekdays or £55 on weekends, you get a welcome drink, range of savoury and sweet snacks and a scone for intermission. You have also a chance to try all the teas you want from the afternoon tea menu - we’ve tried four of them. Each one better than the other.

Prices are per person and, trust me, you will not leave hungry. My personal favourite was a wrap with sweet potato and crumbled feta and the red velvet cake 🤤

Vegan menu available! 🫶

Considering the number of West End shows we’ve seen during our stay, Theathre Afternoon Tea was a perfect match.
