💊 “Take Alvedon and drink more water” Again 😅

To be clear: I can’t personally say anything bad about healthcare in Sweden. Every serious thing I’ve had was properly taken care of. For the small stuff… well, Alvedon + more water honestly did the trick 😂

The culture shock is real though, coming from a place where antibiotics appear at the first sneeze, sometimes not even at the doctor’s initiative, but because patients demand it (often without any valid reasons) 😅

What’s your most “drink water and rest” moment at vårdcentralen?

🇸🇪 Citybox Stockholm is what happens when you remove all the hotel extras you never really use and keep everything that actually matters.

📸 Press stay in collaboration with Citybox Stockholm via @marriedlenses.

Central location a few minutes from the station, self check-in at the screens, clean and bright common areas, comfy sofas in the lobby and a room that feels simple in a good way: modern design, super clean, lots of space for luggage and a proper desk for your laptop.

No breakfast buffet, room service or spa menu, which honestly makes sense on a short city break or work trip when you mostly sleep, shower and go. All those services usually push the price up, here you just pay for what you really use. For this location and standard, the value for money felt very fair 🥰

If you want the full review with prices plus honest pros and cons, the blog post is already live on the blog, link in bio.

😅 Me when Swedes come for my Sweden memes: I’m honestly laughing.

Because here’s the thing: I love Sweden with my whole heart. It’s my home, and I’m probably never leaving. Loving a place doesn’t mean pretending it’s perfect. No place is. It means you can laugh at quirks, poke fun at stereotypes, and still defend it at dinner. That’s healthy, actually.

And it’s not just my stories. So many of the memes are built from what you send me. Wild, sweet, ridiculous everyday moments from Malmö to Kiruna. I’m just the editor-in-chief of our collective chaos.

Do I have Swedish roots? No.
Swedish citizenship? (for a moment) not yet.
Do I feel Swedish? Absolutely, yes.

What’s your favorite “loving-but-teasing” Swedish moment?

😱 Dread just peeked into the mailboxes and onto the notice boards

🚪 “Hyresvärd” = your landlord.
🟢 “Hyresgästföreningen” = the Tenants’ Union.

How it works (no panic… yet):
⚠️ Every year they bargain locally about next year’s rent.
✅ If they agree, most contracts get a % increase (often from Jan, sometimes retroactive 😵‍💫).
❌ If they don’t, it can go to the rent tribunal and take longer.

So that notice = talks for 2026 have started, not “automatic rent hike tomorrow”.

What did your area get last year?

🧿 From sushi spot to Turkish soul food in Malmö ❤️

After 1+ year away from Malmö, we visited an old client in the same location where we once ran his socials and shot photo/video for a sushi bar. Back then he told us about his dream: bring back his roots and serve authentic Turkish cuisine, no shortcuts.

That was the dream. Plan came later. That’s the story of Meyhane.

📌 Meyhane: Regementsgatan 64, 217 51 Malmö

The food hits like a warm hug, the music sets the mood, and the owner’s smile says it all. You can feel when a place is run with heart and passion, both on the plate and in the room. Feels like a full-circle moment ✨

Fun detail: those animal paintings on the walls? Made by an artist and you can buy them on the spot. We’re obsessed 🐈🖼️

Have you tried Meyhane in Malmö yet? What would you order first?

✨ DREAMHACK 2025 STOCKHOLM ✨

First time working at an event like this as staff, not as an influencer or creator 🎧

Before that I only did much smaller events in Poland back when I was a gaming YouTuber (around 100k subs on my channel in 2011–2015).

If you passed through Stockholmsmässan last weekend, you probably saw me running around the Freeplay area or Sim Racing zone ❤️

Working at DreamHack is a totally different experience. I expected an adventure, hard work and lovely people – but it went way beyond anything I imagined. I honestly don’t have words for how grateful I am for everyone I met, trauma-bonded with and who felt like family, even though I met most of you about one hour before the event started 🥹

Let me tell you: I’ve felt pain in parts of my body I didn’t even know existed 💀 But it’s the kind of experience that’s weirdly addictive – every evening you question your life choices and wonder what you’re even doing there… and then you still wake up excited to do it all over again.

🚨 Megan Fox iced coffee ads at Coop are being removed after backlash in Sweden 🧊📸

Criminologist Nina Rung saw the lightly dressed Megan Fox ad while shopping with her 16-year-old daughter and called it sexualised, outdated and without a real slogan.

After her Instagram post, Coop replied the same evening that they will take down all the ad material and the iced coffee company now says they “should have acted differently” and will remove it as soon as possible.

What’s your take:
✅ okay marketing or
❌ time to move on from this kind of imagery in supermarkets?
