🇵🇱 News NOT from Sweden today, but this deserves even more attention 🫶

Two days ago I recorded that Poland had raised 13 million złoty for the Cancer Fighters Foundation.

Now it is already over 123 million złoty, and by the time you read this, this number is probably outdated again.

Polish TikToker and influencer Piotr* “Łatwogang” Garkowski @latwogang has been running a 9-day charity livestream, and the whole country seems to have joined in.

People are donating, shaving their heads, getting tattoos, celebrities are appearing, and the stream has already beaten MrBeast’s livestream fundraising record.

And now?
Aftonbladet @aftonbladet wrote about it in Sweden 🇸🇪🇵🇱

🇵🇱 News NOT from Sweden today, but this deserves even more attention 🫶

The contrast between the sultry, bluesy vibe of this track and what is actually being sung might be the most absurd thing I’ve experienced here so far. It’s “Varför är det så skönt…(att knulla backifrån)” by a Gothenburg artist named Mats Götherskjöld, from a fully produced 2009 album literally titled “From the side with one leg up” (Från sidan med ena benet upp). The Swedish dedication to the bit is unmatched. 🍷

In the video, I’m doing a singable English version, but for those of you trying to learn the language, here is the pure, unfiltered literal translation:

🍑 Stussen: A slightly old-fashioned, almost clinical word for buttocks/rump.

👀 Utan ögonkontakt: “Without eye contact.” Delivering this dry, corporate-sounding phrase as the punchline to a sultry jazz song is peak Swedish deadpan humor.

After almost 25 years, parts of the MALM collection are slowly disappearing from stores worldwide.

👉 IKEA says it’s time for something new that better fits modern living and storage habits.

⚠️ The series has also been involved in serious safety cases, especially in the US, where tipping accidents led to recalls and large compensation payouts.

📦 The phase-out will continue through summer 2026. Some products will still remain.

A McDonald’s in Töcksfors, near the Norwegian border, is closing on May 1 after being ranked the worst in Sweden.

The owner says the reason is simple: fewer customers and a contract that is now ending.

But the restaurant had also been criticized for hygiene problems.
Inspectors reportedly found black growth on walls and in an ice machine, dirt on the floors, broken tiles, and damage in the ceiling.

The four permanent employees have been offered jobs in the owner’s other restaurants.

So yes, one of Sweden’s most talked-about McDonald’s locations is now shutting down for good.
