Here’s why marine biologists are sounding the alarm ⬇️

Even a brush with its tentacles can trigger 🔥 intense pain, muscle cramps, breathing problems, and severe swelling.

Scientists think it hitch-hiked all the way from the Pacific in a ship’s ballast water - meaning it’s not supposed to live here.

This is the very first confirmed catch in Danish waters, and experts say it could spread fast if conditions are right.

Spotted along Norway’s coast this year.
Previously turned up around Sweden’s west coast near Tjörn back in 2018.

🚫 Safety tips ✅ If you see a small, clear jelly with red-orange bands on its bell - do not touch it. ✅ Keep kids and pets out of puddles and seaweed where tiny jellies can hide. ✅ If stung, rinse with seawater (not fresh!) and seek medical help immediately.
