Swedish has this gentle way of naming things, like it’s trying not to hurt your feelings.

Language really does shape mindset and Swedish often feels soft, careful, and slightly euphemistic… but kind. 
I’m not speaking from personal experience here (running three businesses keeps me very employed 😅) but I’ll never forget that moment. 
And honestly? There’s something beautiful about being in a country where even the words are designed to protect your hope 🥹

This year, we celebrated two anniversaries in one evening 🍕✨
 Ours on July 30th (9 years!) and my parents’ on August 1st (38 years!).
 Since Tomasz was in the hospital recently, we decided to bring everyone together for a small but meaningful dinner out.

We ended up at this cozy little pizzeria in Gothenburg — tiny place, big flavor. 
We started with bruschetta, then shared three different pizzas: 🍕 Eleonora 🍕 Tre Colore  🍕 Prosciutto All served on thin, crispy crusts that were just chef’s kiss.

And even though I’m usually picky with tiramisu, this one totally won me over. Soft, balanced, and not overly sweet — exactly how it should be.

We’ll definitely be back — and if you’re ever nearby, this hidden gem is worth a visit.
