Get ready for a hilarious and high-energy tradition! On Walpurgis Night (April 30th), Cortègen rolls through the streets of Gothenburg – and it’s guaranteed to be the city’s quirkiest parade of the year.

Every spring, around 1,800 Chalmers students (known as chalmerists) spend ten intense days building clever and satirical floats at the Gibraltarvallen site. The result? A colorful, comical parade full of creative wagons, catchy slogans, and cheeky takes on the biggest news stories of the past year.

📍 Main route:
Gibraltargatan → Läraregatan → Viktor Rydbergsgatan → Kungsportsavenyn → Vasagatan → Aschebergsgatan → Läraregatan → back to Gibraltargatan
